Known for his stints as part of big-name metal bands Arch Enemy, Nevermore and Conquering Dystopia, Jeff Loomis needs little introduction. The Devil's Triad is one of the pedals that he depends on for his fast-paced and highly technical guitar parts, but since not everyone needs a built-in reverb/delay section, All-Pedal now releases the Devil Triad's Essentials edition. This compact yet versatile stompbox has been outfitted with a forceful Drive section, an impacting 3-band equaliser, and an analogue op-amp boost complete with pre-gain and post-gain pots for up to 20 decibels of extra volume — more than enough to unleash a real sonic surge.
