The upgraded Atomos Shinobi II has a slim, lightweight design and an extra-bright HDR display (1,500 nits), making it ideal for photographers, vloggers and other content creators who are always out and about. The 5" display also features an anti-glare coating and anti-fingerprint technology, while the Shinobi II's pro-grade monitoring functions include advanced histograms, waveforms and videoscopes, and a multi-tool Analysis View. On-screen sliders allow users to easily adjust white balance, aperture, shutter speed/angle, and ISO, and you even get a special selfie mode.

Advanced Control

A major addition to the Shinobi II is camera control via USB-C, a feature requested by users of the original Shinobi. This camera monitor works with most Canon, Panasonic, and Sony-made mirrorless cameras via USB-C, as well as all Z CAM E2 Series models via a LANC cable (not included). Future firmware updates will add support for cameras by Fujifilm, Nikon, OM System, and SIGMA. The built-in HDMI/USB-C cable locking system ensures a fully secure connection at all times.

Accurate Colours and HDR Recording

The Shinobi II simplifies the complexity of Log and HDR shoots with a screen that displays 10+ stop dynamic range in real time based on Log/PQ/HLG signals. This extremely accurate monitor can be calibrated using an X-Rite/Calibrite probe or the Atomos Calibrator app, ensuring consistently accurate HDR and Rec. 709 monitoring. While packed with more hardware than the first-gen model, the Shinobi II weighs just 210 grams and runs all day on a single battery charge. It offers extensive scopes and simple one-touch controls thanks to the AtomOS platform, making it the perfect tool for creative professionals.
