The Meinl TMSTCP Direct Drive Cajon Pedal
In essence, the Meinl TMSTCP looks much like any standard kick drum pedal, and because of the direct drive system, offers the custom feel of adjustable spring-tension, while the flat and height-adjustable beater has been specially designed to make optimal contact with the playing surface of your cajon. For maximum stability, the pivot point has been placed in the middle of the metal trigger for a fast and controlled response. This comfy and effective cajon pedal is easily installed via an adjustable clamp and is fully compatible with most standard cajons.

Ik heb hier gemixte gevoelens over. Hij werkt prima voor een Cajon pedal, maar hij is vrij wankel, en het neemt een groot deel van je cajon in beslag. De sound is verder prima met de pedal, en ik gebruik hem wel erg vaak. Maar hij voelt wat gammel, en je moet rekening houden met dat je veel van je slagvlak kwijtraakt.
Ik vond dit persoonlijk geen fijn product om mee te werken. Het ligt nogal gammel vast aan de cajon op een vlakke ondergrond. Ook zorgt de grote klopper er voor dat je in principe zelf niet meer bij het 'basvlak' van de cajon kan komen. Je cajon wordt dus eigenlijk een grote kickdrum, die nog een stuk doffer klinkt dan wanneer je er zelf met een holle hand op slaat. Kortom; geen aanrader. Op zoek naar een kick geluid? Koop dan een kleine kickdrum of doe 't digitaal. Service van Bax was top, retour werd zonder problemen aangenomen!

The pedal works really well and easily with my setup. It’s great that I can concentrate on using other instruments as well, whilst getting a strong bass beat from the cajon
