The BOSS TU-30 is a more compact version of the TU-80 tuner with a built-in metronome. This legendary tuner has been a favoured tool for music teachers and musicians all over the world for many years. Besides a built-in metronome, the TU-30 also has the Accu-Pitch feature that allows you to not just see the right pitch, but hear it too. What's more, this pedal—which lives up to the highest of BOSS's quality standards—also features various tuning modes and rhythmic patterns.
TU-30: rhythms, beats and tunings
As far as rhythms go, you'll have a choice of seven very different ones that will inspire you when going through exercises or help you learn new pieces of music at a steady tempo. Furthermore, you can also use ten different beats. You can use this tuner to quickly check your guitar or bass in between songs, for instance, or use the Flat function to tune everything half a step down. You can even tune instruments like ukuleles or mandolins with the chromatic mode, using the built-in microphone to pick up the sound.

Werkt goed, reageert adequaat en is een goede hulp bij het stemmen.
Waardeloos apparaat. Deed het af en toe. Dan weer wel, dan weer niet. Bovendien stemtoon E van mijn bas gaf hij door als een F..... Niet kopen!
Na meer 20 jaar liet mijn oude Boss TU-80 het afweten. De nieuwe TU-30 is veel compacter dan zijn voorganger, maar doet het uitstekend, ik zou zeggen even goed. Ik gebruik hem om de elektrische bas te stemmen. Het gegeven dat de tuner ook chromatisch werkt is een meerwaarde. Al bij al ook heel betaalbaar. Een aanrader.
Prima apparaat. Makkelijk te bedienen.
Ik weet niet of ik een maandagmorgen model had, maar hij deed het bij mij af en toe. Zo frustrerend dat je je gitaar niet even snel kunt stemmen. Ik heb hem dan ook de hele kamer doorgegooid :-(. Hij heeft het niet overleefd.
Daarop overgegaan op een clipmodel van Fender, en die doet het zeer naar behoren, maar ben nog wel op zoek naar een stemapparaat wat preciezer werkt als een clipmodel. Om bijvoorbeeld goed te intoneren.
Onlangs de Boss TU-30 stemapparaat met metronoom bij Bax-shop besteld. Snel, makkelijk prima kwaliteit. Aanrader.
Zeer betrouwbaar
Eerste indrukken zijn positief. Een erg fijn en compact stemapparaat, voor gekocht voor de metronoom. Instellen werkt erg gemakkelijk.

De dikke rand boven het display zorgt ervoor dat ‘s avonds het display niet af te lezen is.
Er zit geen achtergrondverlichting op het display.
Een sleuf voor een munt als stand in plaats van een ingebouwde stand.
Ik ga deze vervangen door een Korg TM-60,
die wel achtergrondverlichting heeft en wel een ingebouwde stand.
