An XLR plug is a nifty feat of engineering. The three (or five) different pins, each have a different function and name, but these often get mixed up, which can cause polarity problems with the cable and result in a poor, unclear sound. In order to solve this problem, Shure have developed this switchable phase reverser, which reverses the polarity/phase!
Examples of situations where a phase reverser can come in handy: correcting a cables problem, connecting a microphone that sends out a "hot" signal on pin 3 to a mixer that receiver the "hot" signal on pin 2 or reducing interference caused by two signal with different polarities. All of these problems are solved instantly with the A15PRS!

Perfect voor diegene die niet kan solderen, maar voor deze prijs kan je ook bij een korte xlr-kabel de connecties desolderen en phase-gereversed weer vastsolderen. kost een kwartiertje en een kabeltje. Dit is wel een goede oplossing voor als je er honderd nodig hebt, want dan kost het wel 'iets' meer tijd.
Als je er eentje nodig hebt, zou ik aanraden om ze zelf te maken.
