The Graph Tech PQ-9200-C0 acoustic guitar bridge saddle has been compensated for enhanced intonation and playability. Shaped using synthetic TUSQ, this saddle pulls more brightness and clarity out of the strings. This Graph Tech saddle is compatible with guitars with a fretboard radius of 16-inches (406.4mm) and offers a worthy upgrade for your cherished instrument.
The Benefits of TUSQ
Since previously used organic materials like bone and (further back in the guitar-making game) ivory can be pretty inconsistent, synthetic TUSQ was developed as a material that could be manufactured with precision, therefore maintaining consistency. A nut made out of TUSQ also pulls a rich and transparent quality of sound out of the strings and, since it's so resonant, more harmonics and sustain is injected into the overall tone.
