Na ruim 25 jaar begon de ingangsjack van mijn actieve bas van een gerenommeerd Duits merk steeds meer verschijnselen van uitlubbering te vertonen. Bij een paar van mijn minder dure bassen had ik naar tevredenheid XLR-aansluitingen gemaakt, die langer meegaan zonder problemen en ook geen plop laten horen als je het snoer er uit haalt. Deze bas wilde ik echter zo origineel mogelijk houden. Een originele ingangsjack was alleen op E-bay te vinden voor bedragen rond de 50 euro. Gelukkig kwam ik deze van Fazley tegen. Na inbouw zit het snoer weer strak in de gitaar en hoor ik geen storende bijgeluiden meer. Geweldig, en dat voor die prijs!
