Electronic drum kits continue to be a popular alternative to acoustic kits and while they offer a number of advantages, the fact that you usually need to play with a set of headphones on isn't one of them. It doesn't make them ideal for band rehearsals or performances either. To use your electronic kit in situations like that, you'll need a drum monitor just like Roland's PM-200. This monitor has been fine-tuned for Roland's V-Drums, but will work with any electronic drums or percussion pads.
Roland PM-200 drum monitor for V-Drums 180W
The PM-200 has 180 watts of power on board giving it enough oomph for use on stage as well as in the studio or at home. The 12-inch speaker and horn tweeter combine to produce a clear, full-range sound. The integrated mixer allows you to adjust the bass and treble as required. If you're using Roland's V-Drums, you can make use of the special V-Drums input and otherwise you use the stereo jack and mini jack line inputs. That means you can also connect a computer, a tablet or a smartphone. The PM-200 is also equipped with two XLR outputs so that you can connect it directly to a mixer, a recording device or a PA system.

Geweldig geluid. Ik had voorheen een andere (simpelere, goedkopere) monitor, maar de kwaliteit van deze is echt stukken beter. Bas en treble zijn ook nog apart te regelen. Geluidsniveau is behoorlijk (afhankelijk van wat je erop aansluit, maar in mijn geval is dat van een electronisch drumstel). En je kunt hem doorlussen. Mij bevalt ie echt uitstekend. Is ook behoorlijk robuust. Wel zwaar, maar dan heb je ook wat.

Goed geleuid en zeer solide versterker.
Grote voordeel van de PM-200 t.o.v. de PM-100 is de "direct-out " XLR- aansluiting, zodat aansluiting op een PA mogelijk is.
Zonder PA voldoende power voor kleine optredens en perfect in de oefenruimte.
