Giving drummers everything they'd expect from a pair of 5As, but then a touch more, the Wincent W-5AM drumsticks are made of maple for a lighter feel and are extra-durable thanks to Wincent's unique production process that makes them "As close to metal as wood can get". These sticks feature a tear-drop tip and have been carved into shape using a grindstone rather than a wood lathe before being given an ultra-thin coat of wax to prevent splintering.

Wincent: Swedish Quality

Wincent was founded in 1992 when Swedish drummer Dan Nylén wasn't too impressed with his rods, so just decided he'd have to make them himself. With the help of his father's experience as a carpenter and a little garage space, he started to produce his first bespoke sticks. In honour of his father, Nylén took on his Dad's middle name as his drum-stick moniker: Wincent. Ever since, Wincent has been producing rods and sticks with a focus on durability, using an ecologically conscious approach.
