A fitting tribute to the Mastertone Banjos of thirties vintage, the Elite Flying Eagle is essentially the summit of every bit of Recording King's banjo-building knowledge. In terms of build quality and materials, everything has been thrown back through time, from the mahogany resonator and brass Mastertone-style brass tone ring to the bound ebony fretboard and mother-of-pearl inlaid position markers. In fact, the three-ply maple rim has even been steam-shaped - meeting traditional build techniques that are over a hundred years old.
