The GWB35-BKF is the more affordable model in the Ibanez Gary Willis Signature line-up. This 5-string bass is actually fretless and features a black body made of basswood, black hardware to match and the welcome addition of a finger ramp that supports consistent technique. Held in place by four screws, the ramp can also be removed with ease.

In terms of electronics, the Ibanez GWB35-BKF has been loaded with a passive SFR GWB pickup and 2-band EQ controls furnished with a volume pot and a tone control. As such, it can take on practically any style, while the 3-piece maple neck, the fretless ebony fretboard and the extended cutaway offer the comfort and grip needed to play higher up the neck. Finished with a special set of user-friendly machine heads to meet every last of Gary Willis's requests, the lightweight GWB35 is fully prepared to go on stage.
