The MetroExpress 21-4 Vintage J/J Bass is the beautifully affordable alternative! It even comes complete with a matching Portabag, a handy set of allen keys and S-security locks for your guitar strap. Unlike the slightly more exclusive USA-made examples, this model does have a solid okoume body which luckily has been crafted out of a specially selected slab of wood to keep the weight down.
The MetroExpress 21-4 Vintage: Play Comfortably, Backed Up By a Broad Range of Robust Sounds
The round contours of the lightweight body and the bolt-on maple neck with its trusty C-profile turn this Sadowsky solid-body into a remarkably comfortable bass. Plug the MetroExpress J/J into your amp, and you've got two J-style pickups, active 2-way electronics and a balance pot at your disposal to sculpt a wide variety of beefy sounds with rounded-off punch. To ensure dependable tuning stability, Sadowsky have finished the build with a Just-A-Nut III nut, lightweight open-gear tuners and a practical quick-string release bridge before coating the whole thing in transparent Tobacco Burst.

De Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage Jazz bass is een heel fijne, soepel spelende bas!! Ik heb hem nu een paar weken in mijn bezit en ben er super-enthousiast over. De bass heeft een heel mooie, heavy klank en je kunt er veel verschillende sounds uit halen, mede dankzij de actieve volume- en toonregeling (met batterijtje). Bij het samenspel met de band blijft deze bas heel goed hoorbaar, hij prikt goed door de mix heen, zoals dat heet. Alles is heel degelijk en mooi gemaakt: de slanke hals, de lak, het fretwerk, de brug is heel solide. Alles klopt aan deze bas. De halspen is gemakkelijk te verstellen, de 'bone' is zelfs in hoogte verstelbaar, straplocks zijn gratis bijgeleverd, evenals een (zeer degelijke) Sadowsky-hoes om de bass te beschermen tijdens vervoer. Ik vind het een heel erg goede aankoop voor een heel redelijke prijs. Het is een aanrader!!
