Nice bass, sounds great, plays nice, good JB for the price (bought it for 750 euros).
Just a quality control issue at fender, as usual... the neck has little flaws at the body joint, making the higher notes buzzing despite a nice done set up. But nothing that could'nt be fixed with a fret-work.
It sounds better than my 2014 American deluxe JB, so it's becomming my main bass :-) The neck despite the little flaws mentionned upper is rock solid, doesn't move at all.
Glad i bought it
Should mention that i owed a sire V7, which always seems to compete with the player series.
The sire is great, but the sound is imo better with the player series. The most annoying thing with the sire i owed was that the neck couldn't keep the set up and was always mooving. No issue of this kind with all my fender basses.
