Ibanez' SR400EQM is an electric bass guitar from the Soundgear series that has a compact, beautifully-shaped, lightweight mahogany body and a marvellous quilted maple top with a Dragon Eye Burst finish. The thin SR4 neck is made of 5 pieces of jatoba and walnut and offers excellent stability and playing comfort. There are 24 medium frets and the Accu-cast B300 bridge allows accurate intonation and optimal transference of the string vibrations to the body.

SR400EQM: pickups and sounds

Two PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups deliver the SR400EQM's rich and dynamic sound to your amplifier and Ibanez' Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with 3-way power tap switch and volume and balance controls let you tweak the sound to perfection. The power tap switch has three modes: Tap gives you punchy, dynamic single-coil sounds with excellent articulation, Series gives you the full, warm sound of a humbucker and Power Tap gives you a mix of both.
