Gretsch Catalina Club 2014 White Chocolate: 7-ply mahogany shells

The shells of this four-part American Rock shell set are made of 7-ply mahogany, a solid wood type that is often used to manufacture drum kits, as it provides a warm tone and allows for optimal shell resonance. The 30-degree bearing edges of the Catalina Club 2014 shells increase the resonating ability of the mahogany, delivering that unique Gretsch sound. The CT1-E824-WC White Chocolate shell set is supplied with single-ply Remo drumheads.

The Catalina Club 2014 Satin White Chocolate shell set sports a number of new features. It is fitted with Catalina mini lugs and the bass drum is equipped with a round badge-style clamp with memory lock. The new Catalina tom brackets of the 2014 drum kit series feature improved, great-looking T-shaped wingnuts and offer room for an optional 7/8-inch cymbal arm.
