This rustic Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple shell set features a Classic Walnut finish for a luxurious look. This shell set has a fusion configuration, and thus consists of a 20-inch bass drum, two toms measuring 10 and 12 inches each and a 14-inch floor tom. Yamaha certainly didn't miss any of the details, and we're confident when we say this is a top-quality set with a lot of expressive character.

Details

The interior of the shells is finished with a special Vintage Natural lacquer, which not only provides a clean look, but also strengthens the intonation. Furthermore, 3mm die-cast hoops encourage an open sound. Another interesting feature is that every drum is equipped with a different number of vent holes, depending on its size. This works to ensure that each shell has perfect sustain and rich lows. Additionally, rounded bearing edges provide excellent contact between the drum head and shell, for beautiful intonation from each and every drum. All in all, Yamaha has delivered a fusion shell set with plenty of modern features that make it perfect for the expressive drummer.
