Pull tight on the tone with the Catalinbread Skewer! This hand-made treble booster sounds sharp like a knife and adds that pointy edge to your guitar sound so you can punch right through the mix. Put together in the USA, this stompbox is based on the vintage Hornby-Skewes Rangemaster and, just like Naga Viper Treble Boost but unlike the original models, the Catalinbread Skewer doesn't require any further modifications.

The Skewer: Sonically as Sharp as a Knife

While you could land serious musical stabs with it, this Catalinbread guitar pedal certainly doesn't kill off any tonal richness in your guitar sound and ensures you've always got more than the original gain at your disposal. Simply twist the Skew control to the left and it won't take long before you hit the sweet spot, set the Boost to whatever you want (turned up about two-thirds is the classic amount), or use the Extra pot to strong-arm the transistor into delivering even more gain! Tip: If you're a Deep Purple devotee or a Ritchie Blackmore buff, we seriously recommend teaming the Skwer up with Catalinbread's Dreamcoat!
