General:
This bass cab comes loaded with two solid-sounding 10-inch speakers and boasts Ampeg's very own flip-top system. As part of the PortaFlex Series, this cab is made to survive thousands of gigs, and the journey between, before the 10-inch Eminence drivers and 1-inch compression-driver even think about giving up the ghost.
The Flip-Top PF-210HE Cab
The top panel of the PF-210HE can be unlocked, removed, and flipped. By fitting your amp-head to the panel, it can be flipped and slotted safely into the cabinet housing before being locked securely in place for optimal transport of your entire amp setup. Any amp-head from the Ampeg PF Series will fit perfectly inside the provided amp compartment.
More Technical Details
The housing of this intelligently protective cabinet is made from 15mm thick wood, coated in a black, diamond-structured layer. A B15 grille has been mounted on the front to protect the speakers and add a satisfyingly vintage finish, while more modern, technical details include a 450 Watt power capacity, a massive frequency range, and a sound pressure of 99.6dB SPL.

Deze PF210 In combinatie met de PF115 en PF800 Amp gebruikt voor Raggende manne Tour. Vertrouwde Ampeg sound. Brede klank en genoeg voor wapperende broekspijpen.
De Portaflexserie doet méér dan wat ze suggereert: versterkers en cabs zijn niet alleen (relatief) lichtgewichten en flexibel in transport, ze zijn onvoorstelbaar veelzijdig (ze kunnen alle stijlen aan). Ik combineer de PF 210HE met een PF 500-versterker. Een perfecte match: gedefinieerde bas, diep, luid en dragend zonder rommelende achtergrondgeluiden. Na 30 jaar is dit voor mij zonder twijfel het beste basgeluid, veelzijdig zonder aan eigen (ampeg) karakter in te boeten. Handig in transport, professioneel in klank.
Fraai en handig bascabinet met genoeg power, strakke Ampeg sound en looks!
Eén nadeel aan deze kast zijn de zwenkwieltjes, althans de bevestiging. Veel te kleine/lichte schroeven kunnen het gewicht nooit houden op een hobbelige, niet vlakke ondergrond...

As it helps to decouple noisy floorboards at home put a rug under it
The speaker features a horn which is useful when using a Fender Jazz bass at position one
