As you may have guessed, the Fender Bassbreaker series is based in part on the iconic 1959 Fender Bassman, which wasn't only known for its sound, but also for the fact that it weighed a ton! Fender's mentality is simple: research everything and retain what works. This must've been Fender's mantra during the development of the Bassbreakers, since they have kept the legendary Bassman sound but lost the weight, and gained a sleeker, more ergonomic appearance. To transport these amps from venue to venue, Fender offers amp heads with separate speaker cabinets like this 2x 12-inch version, the Fender BB-212. It has two 12" Celestion G12V-70 speakers with vintage-style voicing and an impressive power capacity.

Vette cab! Ik gebruik hem onder mijn Fender Bassbreaker 15 Top. 2 vette Celestion V-Type speakers met een mooie geluidsopbrengst. Prachtige cleans en ook zeer geschikt voor meer drive. Gewoon heerlijk. Dat was het vele werken zeker waard!
