Meinl TOPCAJ1MB slap top cajon
Descrizione
Meinl's Slap Top cajon is a true conceptual leap forward, as it was designed to bring the striking surface closer to the percussionist. This allows for a more comfortable playing experience and allows for the sound to be projected more directly to the audience. The Slap Top cajon produces both high and low tones, and is equipped with a snare effect.
Meinl TOPCAJ1MB Slap Top cajon: wide tonal spectrum
This hand percussion instrument consists of a makah-burl faceplate and a body made of eco-friendly fibreboard. The playing surface ensures a comfortable feel and the body allows for excellent resonance and a wide tonal spectrum. The cajon is an originally Peruvian instrument that has been gaining popularity of late. A big advantage of the cajon is that it is well-suited for accompanying other musicians in smaller settings or acoustic gigs.
One big sound box
In a way, a cajon is nothing but one big sound box. Inside it, you will find snare wires that vibrate as you play, and you can adjust these wires with the included Allen key.

One of my best buys for a very long time, in daily use since I got it, it has a sort of conga sound, with a bit of damping with the hands it can be a bongo, the bass sound is surprisingly solid and variable by playing it, and the snare are is fantastic , can be like shuffle along with multiple notes or a biting snap, depends how you want it, its delicate enough to be played with fingertips as well, I was a stringed instrumentalist until a year or so ago, for about 40 years, I was pretty good too :P then I found myself ill and not able to use strings through my rheumatism , the ends of my fingers got too big to fit on the fretboard, I was devastated to say the least, this little box has really saved the day, I can "play" music again, so much better than sequencing it! The joy and all the health benefits of playing music are back with me, so if you were worried for any reason, this might be too hard for me to do, it wont be, my hands are super delicate and sensitive to pains, I am getting none with this, one more thing, its got a port at the front for the bassier sounds, as with a sub woofer, position is everything, reflecting the sound against a wall gives you the bass back in your ear holes immediately, recording it would be a breeze, It's a great instrument and marvelous aid to my disabilities too I guess, I could not be happier with it! Big Thanks to BAX and Meinl.
