Most cajon players sit way too hunched over to be able to reach the bass tones properly. To prevent back injury, however, it's much better to sit as upright as possible. With the Pearl CentiGRADE, you can, as its front plate is placed at a 100 degree angle to put less pressure on your lower back. A moulded, funnel-shaped bass port gives the cajon a deep inner resonance chamber, creating a deep bass sound.

Fibreglass and hardwood

The CentiGRADE's body is made of fibreglass, meaning it's exceedingly durable and lightweight, while the front plate is made of blended Asian hardwood, giving it a crisp sound with great projection. The whole thing is finished with a red and yellow Mango Cherry Burst lacquer, which gives it a stylish look.
