The playing height of this cajon 'sits' slightly lower at 45cm for improved comfort for anyone who doesn't have the length of a pro basketball player while, in terms of aesthetics, Schlagwerk have opted for a sleek red, 'box'-style finish. All things considered, this cajon probably packs enough decorative qualities to earn a prominent spot in your living room.

Spiral Snares

Inside the CP403RED, Schlagwerk have fitted spiral snares that move thanks to the air pressure created when you strike the playing surface. In fact, doing so shapes characteristic and clear snare sound, but you're also free to remove the snares for a different sound. Finally, the birch resonance box helps to shape rich bass, making for a flexibly-usable, traditional cajon with the perfect, slightly lower playing height.
