Beyond the unique aesthetics, the solid alder body has been loaded with a bespoke, face-melting Seymour Duncan Warren DeMartini RTM ("Rattus Tonus Maximus") humbucker at the bridge, while a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Flat SSL-4 single-coil at the neck adds some extra punch and warmth. Warren DeMartini's lead guitar work helped soundtrack the eighties so, to fully support his fast and nimble playing style, this model features a quarter-sawn maple neck finished with a Speed Neck profile. The fretboard edges have also been smoothly rounded off for a more played-in feel and a firm grip across the entire range of the twenty-two jumbo frets, which have been made from stainless steel to reduce friction and wear.
