The electric guitars in Epiphone's Modern Series are based on parent company Gibson models but have been more amicably priced to cater to beginners looking to get off on the right foot, or hand in this case. This Les Paul Classic offers you a modern twist on a classic model with its special Worn finish. If your hands tend to stick to high-gloss-finished necks or if you simply love the way it looks, you should definitely try the SlimTaper C-neck of this contemporary LP. The guitar has been equipped with two Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers that deliver that well-known, fiery sound while the push/pull potentiometers let you summon yet another collection of impressive sounds. A LockTone bridge has been fitted to help keep your tuning stable and will stay firmly in place whenever you throw on a new set of strings.

Ik vind dat een gitaar lekker moet spelen, lekker moet klinken en ook dat ie er gaaf uit moet zien. Deze Epi heeft het allemaal. Zeer goed afgesteld (heb ik wel eens anders meegemaakt), klinkt erg goed (push/pull voor singelcoil-geluid gebruik ik niet, maar zit er toevallig wel op. Er zullen vast gitaristen zijn die dat wel heel fijn vinden) en deze gitaar zit er fantastisch uit. Eigenlijk houd ik niet van worn of 'road-worn'. Vooral niet als de gitaar erg 'oud' is gemaakt. Gerelicd. Bij deze Epiphone gaat het alleen om een MATTE uitvoering. En dat ziet er supergaaf uit. Slechts hier en daar een klein plekje in de goudkleur waar de nerf doorheen schijnt. Net zo goed als een Gibson Les Paul? Dat weet ik niet. Ik heb wel eens een Gibson gehad, die klonk fantastisch, maar speelde niet zo lekker als deze Epiphone.
