This is the EVH 5150 Series Deluxe; topped with a sweet slice of poplar burl and loaded with not one, but two cream-filled humbuckers for double the tonal elasticity of the original. This pair of Direct Mount Wolfgang pickups deliver renowned double-coil sound framed by the sweet and warm character of Alnico 2 core-magnets, and come coupled with a three-way switch to isolate or combine their blistering power.

The entire set of control pots has been provided by the world-renowned Bourns, so you get a reliable High Friction tone pot that stays in exactly the position you put it in, and a Low Friction volume pot that doesn't just accommodate butter-smooth swells, but ensures no high-frequency loss. Meanwhile, a Floyd Rose Top-Mount double locking tremolo bridge has been teamed up with an R3 locking nut to lay down solid tuning stability no matter how extreme the dive bombs; Eddie's very own D-Tuna has been fitted for quick and slick drop-tune transitions, and for chopping up notes, licks and riffs to create that legendary stutter effect, a bright orange kill switch has been planted in just the right place.
