Surprising good quality after setting up play really well great guitar

Really nice copy of a firebird, only a little bit of fiddling to the action, bottom frets will need a sand down with my guitar set up kit,and pick up highered, all in all very impressived with the quality especially for £132.
Take chance you won't be disappointed.

A very good looking and good sounding guitar, no major issues at all, everything works and sounds great however it will need to be properly set up to experience it's full potential.

The bad stuff first. The neck pup didn't work at all, the pickguard screw nearest the knobs had speared the wire (causing a dead short) so I dismantled and soldered in new. Not everyone can do that.

Second, the distance between the strings and bridge pup was >10mm! The bridge pup was set on max height too, making this pup useless. With very skillfull handwork I re-worked the neck pocket to suit, now perfect action. I notice the bridge was on back-to-front. I did a few other guitar adjustments to get it set up right. This guitar should not have left the factory.

And now the good stuff. It's really a nice guitar! The main thing is the neck, yes it's 100% correct, nicely made, thick, all the frets work, no buzzing. Good tuners, stays in tune, intonation is perfect. Both pups have a nice tone and different tone, neck is smooth and the bridge is "quacky". It's also a lightweight guitar, strap balance is off a tad, repostion the button will sort that. The paint on the body is good, the knobs are smooth and nice, one tone is a little scratchy at one limit but that's small fry. Note that when in two pup mode, turing one vol to min will kill the sound! It's not a fault but the way this pup arrangement works. I had to get the circuit diagrams to check! Chromework is nice.

If a xmas gift or present, it could be disappointing needing a return to shop and the string height needing skilled attention, but once sorted, nice, especially at the price!

Very nice Firebird style guitar. Fretboard needed some oil, frets needed a bit of polishing. But there was no sharp fret ends. Strings where a bit "stiff" and not so good. But I always change strings on a new guitar anyway so not really a problem. I have owned quite a few guitars in different price classes but this is so far the only one that intonated perfectly out of the box! Also string hight were nice and low. Pickup hight just where they should be at! It also stays in tune perfectly. For the price I think this guitar is quite amazing and a lot of fun playing!

Compte tenu de la rareté et du prix de l'original, cette version est excellente, il faut juste bien ajuster le chevalet au niveau des rivets de rétention. Petit bémol sur les mécaniques, un peu fragiles mais qui fonctionnent !bravo Bax !

De bouw kwaliteit is zelfs voor een product in deze prijsklasse beneden peil.
3 way switch werkt alleen in rhythm stand. Tussen de nek en de body zit te veel ruimte.
De humbuckers hebben weinig output. De snaren die op de gitaar zitten zijn onbespeelbaar.
Misschien een idee om gelijk een nieuw setje snaren er bij te leveren.

Zeer fijn gebalanceerde Firebird, waarvan de mini humbuckers echt onwijs goed gelukt zijn!
De afwerking is heel goed gedaan en de hals ligt door het gebrek aan glossy finish heerlijk in de hand!
