Doing it differently, this tight, offset upstart of an electric guitar comes fully prepped to back up everything from punk to new wave, and alt-rock to metal. The solid basswood body of the Fazley Olympia FKC518 strikes a genuinely unique silhouette and is surprisingly lightweight which, coupled with the stable bolt-on maple neck, polishes off a stage-ready workhorse.
The Fazley Olympia FKC518SB: Light Punch & Solid Output
Solid output framed by a light mid-range punch is provided by the meaty pair of humbuckers mounted on the face of the Olympia. Isolate each pickup or combine both using the pickup switch and customise the amplified sound using the fitted volume and tone pots to carve out your own signature sound. Fully backed up by a TOM-style bridge and topbar tailpiece, the FKC518 comes set up to support hefty rhythm work.

well-balanced and good sound
Detta köp va inge bra, lilla kartongen var öppen så att gitarren hade åkt ur och låg halvt lös i stora kartongen. Sadlar hade släppt från stallet.
Kontrollen av gitarrer är inte bra.

I am very pleased with the Olympia. Apart from needing a tune, it was playable straight out of the box. It was well set up with a nice low action. The tuning pegs feel positive and there was no sign of fret sprout. Intonation not quite perfect and I suspect that there is not quite enough movement left at the bridge to get there, but it's pretty good. This is a really good looking guitar - the web site pictures don't do it justice. Even more important, it sounds great in all three switch positions. The pots are smooth and there is plenty of adjustment for tone and volume. The only slight niggle, a lob-sided knob on the tone pot - hardly a deal breaker! Finally, the new, narrower, outer transit box kept the guitar in the inner box, so the instrument arrived in pristine condition. Well done Bax!
