Fender's American Performer series is the spiritual successor to the American Special series. If you want to get your hands on a real American Stratocaster at an attractive price, this model is it! It has a maple neck and fretboard, sweetening the brightness of its sound. The neck is refined by a modern C profile with a rounded 9.5-inch radius and there are 22 jumbo frets that enhance its playing comfort. Fender have even included a deluxe gig bag.

American Performer Stratocaster: highly-versatile sound

This Strat has an alder body and is equipped with newly-developed Yosemite single-coil pickups that have flat-staggered poles, giving them extra output and really letting the dynamics in your playing shine through. They also have a shellac coating to prevent problems with feedback. The tone potentiometer has a push/pull function that gives you even more sound possibilities from the neck pickup.
