Fender's American Performer series is the spiritual successor to the American Standard series which means American models at attractive prices. This Telecaster has a maple fretboard that ensures there's plenty of the renowned Tele twang in your sound. It even comes complete with a deluxe gig bag.

American Performer Telecaster: tone monster!

Fender's guitars may have traditional looks, but that doesn't stop them from having plenty of modern features on board too. This Tele has a body made of alder with two newly-designed Yosemite single-coil pickups. The one at the neck has a shellac coating, while the one at the bridge has wax potting. This prevents unwanted feedback and means the dynamics in your playing come through extremely well. There's also a Greasebucket Tone circuit that gives you more control over the high tones.

Optimal playing comfort

Pick up and play this Fender and you'll notice the maple neck has a modern C profile and a rounded 9.5-inch radius that enhance its playing comfort. The 22 jumbo frets play their part in this too. You can count on excellent tuning stability as well thanks to the ClassicGear machine heads.
