For super-fans of the slightly more brutal Tele sound of the Cabronita, Fender serve up a very limited number of these high-quality, USA built Telecasters in but a few, very special finishes. Based on the original luxury Custom Shop model, these American Cabronitas come mounted with a Strat-style 6-saddle bridge, American-Series String-Thru-Body and, unique to this limited edition, a painted headstock to match the body's finish.
The USA Cabronita Telecaster: The Ideal Mix
A pair of highly expressive Filter 'Tron Classic pickups from the legendary TV Jones, fire up as soon as this Cabronita is jacked in. These pickups have all the power of a humbucker but with a very particular sparkle and growl that could never be pulled out of a set of standard double-coils. These incredibly versatile pickups strike such a specific balance between single-coil and humbucker sound, that they're close-to-worshipped by guitarists who already have them, or have had the privilege of encountering them; even briefly. Keeping it simple, the Limited Edition Cabronita is fitted with one single volume pot and a 3-way switch.
