Applying futuristic specs without messing with any of the old-school style, the Fender Made in Japan Hybrid II Telecaster does things like no other, no matter the genre and no matter the playing technique. The maple neck has been polished off with a Modern-C carve and decked out with a rosewood fretboard and set of twenty-two jumbo frets to provide a classic feel and modern touch, while the locking machine heads retain an old-school look and supply up-to-date stability. When it comes to the sound, a pair of exclusive Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Telecaster single-coils has been teamed up with a four-way switch so the bridge and neck pups can be flipped into series as well as parallel to complete a multifaceted twist on the time-honoured Tele formula, and since this is a Made in Japan offering, you're 100% assured of outstanding build quality as well as finish. As a fitting bonus, the Hybrid II comes complete with a Fender gig bag!

Prachtige gitaar, licht, speelt soepel, mooie c-hals met net wat meer grip dan het Mexicaanse werk. (denk aan een player of een vintera) Fijne rosewood toets op het fretboard. Alleen de sound.... het was geen echte Telecaster sound. Wel in de richting, maar onvoldoende. Dunnetjes. Blikkerig ipv Twangy. Het was een geslaagd geluid toen ik er Strawberry Fields op speelde. Dus mocht je dat zoeken, dan heb je een topper. Voor mij was ie het toch weer net niet.
