The Postmodern Journeyman Strat is a top-quality Custom Shop guitar that combines modern playing comfort with a classic look. The neck is made of quarter sawn maple for extra stability, while the maple fretboard gets flatter as you move towards the body, thanks to a compound radius, making it even easier to play solos. A stylish, rounded heel makes the higher frets easily accessible. In short, this American Fender offers the great combination of a vintage look with modern playability.
Custom Shop Postmodern Relic : Tone Saver and Fat '60s pickups
A Stratocaster wouldn't be a real Strat without a sparkling and versatile sound, of course. That's why this Custom Shop model has a lightweight body made of ash, which offers high resonance with heavy bass and clear trebles. The guitar also has excellent sustain and its bright tone cuts through any mix, whether it's clean or overdriven. Its versatility is a result of the three Custom Shop Fat '60s single-coil pickups. The middle pickup is reverse wound with reverse polarity in order to prevent the undesirable 60-cycle hum. High frequencies remain unchanged even at low volumes thanks to the volume potentiometer's Tone Saver treble-bleed circuit.
Custom Shop Postmodern Journeyman Relic
With the Postmodern Series, the Fender Custom Shop's goal is to produce classic guitar models like the Stratocaster and Telecaster with the latest features. All of the models have a round, laminated, maple fretboard with a compound radius that goes from 9.5 to 12 inches. The Relic versions have a lightly weathered finish. The result is a contemporary classic with the characteristics of a vintage guitar that has been well used and looked after. Together with your top-quality instrument, you will receive a luxury case, a guitar strap, an instrument cable, a CruzTools Toolkit and a certificate of authenticity.

Wat een heerlijke gitaar... de relic is niet te gek en de lak mooi gecraqueleerd. Snap niet waarom Fender geen vintage locking tuners monteert. Alles is modern aan deze gitaar met een oude look behalve de tuners en de brug. Mag m.i. best ook een twee punts tremolo op.
De elementen klinken lekker punchy en best luid... speelt fantastisch.
