While the HS pickup configuration is familiar, the range of tone is anything but. The Seymour Duncan Hyperion at the bridge supplies thick Alnico-flavoured humbucker output but with a touch more punch, while the Alnico II Pro at the neck drops classic fifties-vibe single-coil sparkle - the secret weapon of this uniquely voiced model. On top of that, and besides a three-way selector switch, the EH10 provides an extra coil-tap switch to split the humbucker and unleash pure dual single-coil sound. And, to polish it off, a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut has been teamed up a T1502 tremolo bridge and a set of Gotoh MG-T locking tuners to fully elevate the playing comfort as well as the stability.
