The RG421AHM is an attractively-priced electric guitar from Ibanez' RG Standard series. It has an ash body with a striking Blue Moon Burst finish and is equipped with two Quantum ceramic humbucker pickups. If you're looking for a model with a modern vibe and sound, this electric solid-body gives you exactly that. Expect to hear prominent bass and treble with slightly scooped mid tones and plenty of sustain on notes and chords.
RG421AHM: fast, modern and stable
This blue Ibanez is comfortable to play thanks to its beautifully-shaped RG body and its bolted-on thin Wizard III maple neck. Speed and smoothness are assured by the 15.75-inch fretboard radius and the maple fretboard too. The two Quantum humbuckers offer slightly more output and extra treble response which means the RG421AHM is perfect for heavier styles of music like metal and rock but funk or pop would be no problem either depending on the 5-way pickup switch's setting. Finally, optimal tuning stability and string tension is provided by the fixed bridge.

Heerlijk veelzijdige gitaar, mooi afgewerkt en prima sound. Gekocht voor mijn zoon, maar speel er stiekem graag zelf ook wel eens een deuntje op 😉
Geweldige gitaar, goede, heldere pickups en hij blijft goed in tune. vooral geschikt voor metal en rock, hoewel hij voor alle genres wel bruikbaar is. Het enige minpunt is de whammy-bar die eens in de zoveel tijd loslaat, dit is makkelijk te fixen en dus niet een dealbreaker.
Heb na verschillende gitaren uitgeprobeerd te hebben deze gitaar als eerste elektrische gitaar gekocht na een paar maanden op akoestisch te hebben geleerd. Wat een geweldige gitaar! Het speelt heel soepel en er komt een zeer goed geluid uit. Door de 5-way pickup selectie ook heel veelzijdig in geluid. Eigenlijk nog geen minpunten ontdekt, op een klein beetje stroefheid aan de tone-knop na, maar daar valt goed mee te leven. Ik merk nu al vooruitgang door hoe lekker soepel en snel speelbaar deze gitaar is. Echt een aanrader.

Second time lucky for me.
Had to return the first one back due to quality control issues, which is no reflection on Bax.
Bax did however handle my situation with total professionalism. A quick replacement was sent out and what a replacement it was.
This Ibanez RG is beautiful.
I'm used to a wizard III neck as I already have a RGRT421 model and this with a maple neck and fretboard is just as good.
Love the Ibanez Quantum pickups, no need to change them in a hurry .
The blue moon burst finish is stunning.
Bought for a ridiculous price here at Bax, no other company could compete for price!
