Jackson Guitars has collaborated with Chris Broderick to develope a truly high-spec Artist Signature guitar. Working with Jackson Custom Shop Master Builder Mike Shannon, Broderick designed his own special take on the venerable Soloist. With an offset arch-top mahogany body and quilt maple top, it both looks and sounds the part. The transparent black finish leaves the quilted maple exposed. Chris Broderick

Chris Broderick is an American musician, best known for his virtuoso guitar playing. Having been classically trained and diligently having practised the electric guitar, classical guitar, piano and violin, he soon grew up to become a highly skilled and versatile musician. Chris was brought into the fold of Jag Panzer, where he provided the band with complex and technical riffs for over ten years. Afterwards he joined Nevermore on tour, where he showcased furious lead work alongside Steve Smyth. In 2008 he joined the legendary Megadeth, but decided to part ways in 2014 to pursue his own musical direction, which we can now hear in Act of Defiance. Every guitarist can surely learn something from this all-rounder.
