Itching to get your hands on an affordable yet sonically wide-ranging electric guitar? If so, the Squier Sonic Stratocaster HSS is an outstanding option. Here, 'HSS' refers to the pickup configuration, which plants a humbucker in the bridge position plus one single-coil in the middle and another at the neck. This load-out allows this Squier Strat to spit anything from beefed-up rock sounds and warm leads to sparkling cleans. What's particularly interesting for beginners is that poplar body, which is a tad slimmer and lighter than a standard Fender Stratocaster.
The Sonic Stratocaster HSS: Up-to-Snuff Playability
As always, Squier have made sure the Sonic Stratocaster HSS has a nice and comfortable playing feel. The maple neck has a satin-gloss finish which combines with a snug C-profile and a traditional 9.5-inch fretboard radius, while another welcome bonus comes in the form of a vintage-style tremolo bridge which fully supports vibrato effects. Despite its keen price, this entry-level axe also boasts flat saddles which make a comfortable spot to rest your right hand.

Mijn eerste gitaar. Snel ontvangen. Een plezier om elke dag op te oefenen.
Ik had een bestelling voor deze gitaar geplaatst bij een andere website. Dit was van mij een grote fout. Gitaar deed het niet.. Vervolgens bij Bax besteld en door een zeer snelle verzending en levering kon ik weer snel gitaar spelen. Ook het product voldoet volledig aan mijn wensen. Sommige mensen benoemen dat deze gitaar goedkoop aanvoelt, dat is in mijn ingeving niet het geval. De afwerking is beter dan verwacht en het geluid is geweldig (versterker: Marshall MG15R). Al met al een goede koop, deze gitaar raad ik aan voor iedereen die wil starten met gitaar spelen of al een tijd speelt!
Ik geef vijf sterren, want het is de eerste gitaar in jaren waar ik geen fret level job, of heel veel werk aan had om hem uberhaupt 'playable' te maken. Dat waren dus allemaal Harley Bentons.
Deze Squier kwam uit de doos met mooie gladde frets, goede intonatie, bespeelbare hals(truss rod ietjse strakker gezet) en een goed geluid. Aan alles was gedacht. Elke Harley Benton (4 stuks) kwam tot nog toe als eier-snijder uit de doos. Echt. Wat een verademing. Nu nog een beetje ver'Gilmouren". .. creme pickup covers, knoppen, hals geel maken etc. Top gitaar!
Probably the best price/quality entry guitar on the market. Very versatile with HSS setup and also very nice platform to be either upgraded.
Très bonne guitare pour débuter belle sonorité, grande souplesse de jeu .Ça faisait 40 ans que je n'avais pas retouché une guitare et j'ai retrouvé de belles sensations avec cette Squier Sonic Stratocaster donc 4 étoiles pour la guitare et une 5ieme bien méritées pour l’équipe de BaxShop qui a bataillé auprès du transporteur qui avait perdu mon colis. Grand merci pour leur travail et leur gentillesse.

hele goede gitaar, het is mijn tweede elektrische gitaar. Op alle vlakken heel erg goed. Het enigste wat me een beetje stoort is dat de gitaar niet goed gestemd blijft bij gebruik van de whammy bar maar dit is helemaal niet zo erg als je geen pietje precies bent. Stemt wel lekker makkelijk. Gewoon een heel goede gitaar. Ook snel geleverd.
