The solid American basswood body has been trimmed right down to reduce the weight even further before being finished with ergonomic contouring and topped with a slice of flame maple to bring the aesthetics fully up to spec. Since the headstock has also been removed, this model weighs just 2.5 kilos, all in the aim of reducing the playing fatigue and shoulder and neck aches that can happen during long sessions, and making the life of the professional guitarist that much more comfortable. Made from quarter-sawn maple, the neck has been given the exclusive EndurNeck profile and the fretboard features an extremely flat 20 inch radius. These details, coupled with the progressive multi-scale setup which graduates from 25.5 inches at the high-E to 26.25 inches at the low-B, guarantee flawless intonation and a tight feel, no matter how technical the work gets. The Boden Standard NX 7 Tremolo has also been kitted out with a pair of custom-developed humbuckers complete with master tone and volume pots and a five-way switch that flips through a breathtaking tonal array. And, to ease note-navigation no matter the light conditions, both the fretboard and the side of the neck have been lined with a set of Original Luminlay dots.
