The Vintage V6JMH electric guitar radiates a genuine Hendrix-vibe. While this instrument is essentially based on the affordable V-6 Series ST model, it's been given a devoted and somewhat unique makeover. To emulate Jimi's weapon of choice, this guitar comes finished in Olympia White 'Fillmore', and while it's definitely right-handed, it's been fitted with a left-handed neck for an authentic 'reversed-headstock' look and feel, and the left-handed configured pickups produce a devoted and unmistakable Jimi-style sound.

The Vintage V6JMH: Jimi's Sound

The magnetic poles of the pickups have been staggered, so that one sits closer to the string than the previous, and due to the left-handed configuration, this creates a different volume balance between the strings to shape that unrivalled Hendrix sound. It's widely known that while Hendrix was left-handed, he always played a right-handed model and just flipped the strings, and as such, even the bridge of the V6JMH is mirrored so that the low-E string sits closer to the bridge, giving the low-end more clarity and the high-end more fullness and presence. Just the way Jimi liked it.
