Taking the ever-popular L7 up a notch, Sire and Larry Carlton present the L7V. Loaded with two LC Vintage P90 soapbars, a Modern Tune-O-Matic bridge and a set of Premium Locking Tuners to firm up the tuning and speed up string-changes, this is a solid and deluxe twist on the classic single-cut. The mahogany body has been topped with hard maple and, to boost the definition of the already warm sonic foundation, the set-in neck has been carved out of a solid chunk of maple. This is the left-handed edition.

To ease the load on the fret-hand, the fretboard has been given the special Edgeless treatment, meaning that the edges have been comfortably rounded off, while the modern contouring at the heel and set of twenty-two medium-jumbo frets keep the playability light and fluid all the way up the neck. Amplified, the mounted two-pack of LC Vintage P90 pickups lay down a classic mix of clarity and warmth, which can be varied at will via the fitted three-way switch and pair of tone and volume pots per pickup, so you can flip through a broad and powerful tonal array.
