The Centerblock Double Cut guitars of the Gretsch Streamliner Series are famed for their deliciously classic look, excellent playing feel and incredibly reasonable price. With the G2627T variant, you get all of this plus an extra pickup! The striking HHH configuration mounted on this thinline archtop is brought to shape by a master volume, master tone and a set of dedicated volume pots per pickup. Not one but two pickup selection switches are provided, one of which offers standard bridge or neck pickup isolation while the other adds or removes the middle pickup or completely bypasses the other two.

The G2627T: Solid Amplification, Multi-Sided Sound and Single-Coil Style Definition

The rich acoustic sound of this Gretsch semi-acoustic is solidly amplified by the three Broad 'Tron pickups and, much like many humbuckers produced during the tail-end of the '50s, these double-coils bring a single-coil-style definition but without any of the unwelcome hum. With this set up, the Streamliner Centerblock DC doesn't only have a multi-sided tonal range but incredible presence that can be finished with subtle or extreme bends thanks to a genuine Bigsby B70 vibrato tailpiece.
