This Gretsch G6136 Vintage Select Edition 1955 Falcon in Vintage White is a real collector's item. The Cadillac Tailpiece, pickup mounting brackets and Synchro-Sonic bridge are all gold plated. It's not just its looks that will help you steal the show however, this model has a great sound too. It's equipped with a pair of single-coil pickups and redesigned 'paper in oil' condensers for a crystal-clear transparent tone that resonates beautifully through this hollow-body guitar.
Synchro-Sonic
The Synchro-Sonic bridge gives this Vintage Select model excellent intonation and it can be easily adjusted using the thumb screw, even between numbers when playing on stage, if necessary. The laminated maple body and solid spruce top are supported by parallel tone bars to enhance the resonance while the TV Jones T-Armond single-coil pickups deliver a pure tone to your amplifier.
Neck profile and playing comfort
The Gretsch White Falcon has a standard U neck profile and a 12-inch fretboard radius for a comfortable playing experience no matter whether you're strumming complex chords or plucking individual notes. The mother-of-pearl inlays on the fretboard are another stunning visual detail and it doesn't stop there. The gold-plated pickguard with black Gretsch logo, the Grover machine heads and the high gloss finish on this model are all features that take it to the next level.
