Descrizione
The elegant, parlor-style form of the Fender California Series Malibu Special electro-acoustic offers snug, Fender-grade playability and, due to its slightly slimmer-than-average shape, has a little less bass and considerable presence, which is also due to the solid okoume used to construct the top, back, and sides.
The Malibu Special: Lively, Comfortable, and Balanced
The warm acoustic sound of this California Series guitar is especially rich and packed with character, and has enough articulation to pull out every bit of playing dynamics, whether playing with the fingers or a pick. Since this model has been fitted with a slim C-profile neck and a nicely flat, 15-75-inch fretboard radius, the playability is comfortably snug and fast while, to ensure excellent on-stage sound, a Fishman-Fender-developed Flex System preamp complete with two pickups has been fitted and specifically calibrated for the body shape of the Malibu.

Delivery of the product was excellent with good communication throughout. The guitar arrived well packaged.
The guitar itself is very impressive. The neck profile is incredibly comfortable, electric players like myself will be at home here. The fit and finish was impeccable, fret ends perfect, the action out of the box was great and the guitar didn't require any adjustment. It was a little dry but a spot of Dr Ducks ax wax on the body and fingerboard brought the colour back instantly.
The guitar sounds great unplugged and the pickup system is intuitive and sounds really good. Parlour guitars are never going to be mega bassy but the bass boost switch does help to round out the amped sound.
Finally the padded gig bag is of really high quality, the branding on it looks really cool and there are lots of compartments, the padding is decent too and id be confident taking the guitar out and about in it.
