Gretsch present the electro-acoustic Rancher: a fresh parlour guitar equipped with a Fishman Isys III preamp for those who love the look and sound of this legendary brand. In addition, this model features a built-in tuner and a piezo pickup, while the construction encompasses a solid spruce top and a maple neck, back and sides. Finished with gold-coloured binding and vertical wing styling on the headstock to match the Gold Plexi pickguard, this limited-edition Penguin coated in Mint Metallic has that unmistakable Gretsch look.

Iedere gitarist heeft een parlor gitaar nodig en Gretsch verlaagt de drempel met deze Rancher Penguin dusdanig dat iedereen er zich één kan permitteren. Kijk voor 549 krijg je een goed klinkend instrument dat zowel akoestisch als versterkt mee kan met veel duurdere concurrenten. Verwacht geen Martin Dreadnought bas en volume maar deze kleine krachtpatser is luider dan je denkt. Afwerking is uitstekend, lakwerk is indrukwekkend. Set up kon wat lager naar mijn smaak. Lot's of bang for the buck!
