A classic-looking solid sitka spruce top gives you a trusty foundation sound while the back and sides are made of luxurious striped ebony. If you hadn't yet noticed, this is the CE model with a cutaway for easy access to solos and melodies played at the higher frets.

The D-260CE Westerly Deluxe: Top-Notch Amplified Sound

It's little wonder this Guild flattop is part of the brand's Westerly Series, named after the legendary factory in Rhode Island where, near the end of the sixties, an enormous leap in quality was made. To get the amplified sound of the D-260CE on par with the quality of its construction, Guild called on Fishman to help out. Together, they came up with the AP1 preamp with basic tone control and combined it with a Fishman Sonicore placed under the NuBone bridge saddle for smooth transparent, acoustic signal transfer to your amp or DI box.
