If you're already used to the feel of an Ibanez solid-body electric guitar, then the Altstar Series ALT30 electro-acoustic guitar couldn't be easier to transition to since this flattop model not only features a classic 6-in-line headstock, but a Comfort Grip neck and a pre-installed set of .010 to .047-gauged strings to accommodate a light playing feel and nimble rhythm parts.

The ALT30: Bright, Sparkling Sound

Dipped in a metallic high-gloss finish, the spruce top and sapele back and sides guarantee a rich-and-sparkling acoustic sound that's enhanced by the sonic tightness offered by the maple neck, which in turn has a matte satin-gloss finish for a soft, never-sticky feel. Fitted with an AEQ-2UT preamp and an undersaddle pickup, the ALT30 sounds just as good when plugged into an acoustic amp.
