Contemporary woodworking technology and the best quality wood has been used to reproduce the vintage bracing construction of this model to ensure lush natural resonance and a full, warm and sparkling sound, whether unplugged or amplified.

The Ibanez Artwood AW70ECE-NT: Traditional Build

The solid Canadian Sitka spruce soundboard shapes rich, clear fullness, while the mahogany sides and back add depth and warmth. This sumptuous foundation is finished off by the balance of a matching mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. The Ibanez AW70ECE-NT comes fitted with die-cast chrome machine heads and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins for steady tuning; comes with a set of pre-installed D’Addario EXP strings; and has been coated in a natural, transparent lacquer to show off the complex grain of the high-grade wood.

Ibanez Undersaddle Pickup & AEQ-TP2 Preamp

For faithful on-stage amplifications, the AW70ECE-NT has an integrated Ibanez Undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp complete with built-in tuner and two-band EQ controls for accurate tone shaping. Besides a standard jack output, this gig-ready electro-acoustic guitar provides a balanced XLR output for direct PA connection and precise signal transference.
