The Takamine GN71CE-NAT is an electro-acoustic western guitar that delivers a high-quality performance while looking stunning: it has a NEX-style body that can be recognised by its streamlined, curvy shape. This model is much slimmer at the waist than a dreadnought model and is similar to a triple O guitar. This Cutaway Electric has an indentation in the body for easier access to the highest frets. Thanks to the built-in pickup and elaborate preamplifier, the GN71CE can be used in an acoustic as well as electric capacity, live and in the recording studio.
Takamine GN71CE-NAT: Construction and Finish
This steel-string guitar has a solid top-construction made of spruce, and its sides and back are made of laminated rosewood. The result is a surprisingly full, deep, sparkly sound that carries a quite a long way considering its compact size The GN71CE has a slim mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fretboard and a 12-inch radius. It provides you with great playing comfort, whether you have big or small hands. The bridge saddle has been split into two parts in order to guarantee optimal purity and intonation. Everything is stylishly finished with maple bindings along the body, fretboard and headstock, maple position markers and it has an elegant mother-of-pearl rosette.
For Live Gigs and the Recording Studio
The GN71CE also delivers great performances when amplified. This guitar is fitted with Takamine's elaborate TK-40D preamplifier which features volume control and a 3-band EQ that can be bypassed. With the Mid Contour control you can accentuate the mid frequencies (400 Hz) for more punch and a rounder attack. The Notch Filter is ideal for searching that exact frequency that causes annoying feedback. You also have a practical auto-chromatic tuner with LED display at your disposal, which makes it easier to tune your strings.

Mooie gitaar voor deze prijsklasse ,voor deze middel grote gitaar klinkt hij vol en helder.
Al wat opgenomen met deze gitaar ,en is een all rounder ,voor verschillende soorten muziek.
Het notch filter is fijn als je live optreed dit zorgt er voor dat deze niet gaat feedback en.
De inbouw element vergt nog wat instelling als je de gitaar via de amp wil opnemen voor opnames
Het beste klinkt hij voor het opnemen met een condensator microfoon de C2 gebruik ik hiervoor met twee mono uitgangen zodat je een stereo opname kan maken.
De snaren die op deze gitaar zitten worden geleverd van D Addario exp hier zit een coating omheen deze klinken fijn.
Zal dus deze zeker opnieuw bestellen als deze echt op zijn.
Ik heb in ieder geval geen spijt van deze gitaar aan te schaffen.

Prima gitaar, zonder versterking voldoende volume en een mooi vol geluid. Ook versterkt klinkt die erg goed. Had hiervoor een duurdere gitaar maar die speelde vrij zwaar en daar heb ik met deze geen last van.
Al met al een aanrader, ook qua afwerking vind ik dat de gitaar tot in de puntjes goed verzorgd is.
