Every year, the Japanese master-builders of Takamine show off their expertise with an extra-special, extra-limited-edition model. For 2024, the world is treated to a stunner: the LTD2024 Solar System in Gloss Penumbra Blue Fade. Navigate through every last one of our eight neighbouring planets which have been inlaid along the entire length of the ebony fretboard, with the Sun represented at the twelfth fret by a symbol for life and energy. The colour finish of this model has also been inspired by the astronomical concept of half-shadow, where the Penumbra Blue Fade echoes the fascinating interplay of light and dark - fading a deep blue into a dark cosmic shadow. This celestial acoustic guitar comes complete with one of Takamine’s lightweight semi-hard cases and, since only a very limited number will ever be built, get your hands on this collector's item while you can.

The Takamine LTD2024: Stratospheric Quality

The Takamine LTD 2024 features a solid spruce soundboard, a solid rosewood back and, inside, every brace has been both individually selected and voiced by Takamine-master Tohru Hirokawa, ensuring that every guitar delivers lush, lively, dynamic and responsive tone. In short, this is one outstanding instrument, whether you're performing or working in the studio, all courtesy of a pre-fitted Palathetic pickup (another of Takamine's legends), which has been coupled with the ultra-musical output of a retro-inspired CTF-2N FET preamp and includes a notch filter with a -6dB to -12dB range for wiping your sound clean of any possible feedback. Smaller details like the black chrome hardware and abalone purfling only serve to polish off the mystical character of this one-off electro-acoustic wonder.
