The Takamine P7JC is an electro-acoustic Jumbo-model from one of Takamine's best series: the Pro Series 7. This series is perfect for the ambitious performer. For starters, only solid wood types were used to guarantee an exceptionally good resonance. The guitar also looks stylish, with its gold-coloured hardware and abalone and mother-of-pearl inlays.
P7JC: sound and comfort
The Jumbo size of the P7JC enhances the volume and, together with the rosewood sides and back, also provides an audible presence of bass tones. The spruce top and ebony fretboard add a great dose of sparkle to the sound of the guitar. A striking feature is the asymmetrical profile of the neck which guarantees a natural grip for you hand.
A guitar with advanced preamp
The P7JC, that comes with a case, is fitted with a highly advanced CTP-3 Cool Tube preamplifier. This elaborate and unique preamp guarantees an exceptionally warm and personalised stage sound. You can adjust that sound by means of a 3-band equalizer. What's more, you can even mount a second pickup and control its volume separately.
