Based on the much loved Guild Madeira that helped Bob Marley write many of his songs in the seventies while he sat in the comfort of his own home, the Guild A-20 Marley is a fitting tribute to a legend in its own right. This dreadnought acoustic guitar bears the same vintage-seventies flat headstock, rounded corners and script logo while tasteful embellishments include the Bob's signature on the scratchplate and the MARLEY inlay at the 12th fret. This model is as humble as the man himself, and as such, the price has been kept low, making it accessible to die-hard fans and fledgling guitarists alike.
The Marley X Guild: One Tree Planted
To make sure this signature acoustic breathes with rich and warm sound, the soundboard has been made from solid sitka spruce while the back and sides have been made from mahogany. In line with Bob Marley's future-thinking philosophy, for every A-20 built, a tree will be planted thanks to Guild's partnership with One Tree Planted. Since rosewood is now protected and unfortunately more scarce than it was in the seventies, the fretboard has been made from pau ferro, while the included gig bag has been made from recycled nylon. This thoughtful steel-string also comes with a custom booklet telling the story of Marley's own Guild Madeira; a poster of Marley with his favourite guitar; and a three pack of custom plectrums.

Voor iemand die begint met gitaarspelen is dit een goed bespeelbaar instrument. En wat een ongelofelijke mooie klank. Ik speel naast deze gitaar van Guild ook op een M-20. Ik hou erg van Martin gitaren, maar ben ook heel erg onder de indruk van Guild de laatste tijd. kortom deze Marley uitvoering van Guild is een goede aankoop geweest. Ik ben er heel blij mee, trouwens ook met de service van Bax. Ga zo door!
Ik heb mijn gitaar hobby een paar jaar geleden weer opgepakt, begonnen met het spelen op de klassieke gitarten die ik had, dit uitgebreid naar elektrisch klassiek snel volgde mijn eerste steelstring, een LagTramontane Auditorium model. Toen ik het verhaal las van de Marley A-20 (over het planten van een boom bij elke verkochte gitaar en de mooie tas erbij ben ik naar Bax gegaan om de gitaar te testen. Ik was gelijk verkocht, de Marley A20 is eerste dreadnought gitaar, ik heb de gitaar nu 3 dagen, de gitaar speelt heel makkelijk, en klinkt voor mij erg goed en is erg goed afgewerkt. Ik ga veel plezier van de gitaar hebben.
Echt een meerwaarde in mijn collectie, eindelijk een Bob Marley gitaar van een goed merk met en top solide sitka spruce en echte beenkam de zijkanten en achterkant zijn lami mahonie, maar zo was eigenlijk de originele gitaar van Bob ook ben blij met het verhaal van guild en het verhaal hoe deze gitaar tot stand is gekomen.

M'n kleinzoon speelt nog niet zo lang en had z'n oog op deze uitvoering laten vallen. Is erg tevreden met de klank, bespeelbaarheid en hoe deze is gemaakt. De beschrijving van het artikel klopt volledig en uiteraard zijn we een goede service ondertussen gewoon bij Bax. Top dus 👌🏽
